Wolf Knowledge is the name of my business.
antidotes is the name of my current blog.
In 2016, after twenty years with McKinsey & Company, I set up an independent practice. Today, I am a coach, knowledge advisor, and developmental editor on organizational topics. I also specialize in speech writing.
During my career with McKinsey, I was based in London, where I held local, then European positions. I created communities of practice and coordinated professional development for consultants. I recruited, staffed, and counseled people to advance their careers. In 2007, I switched gear and moved into an advisory position to become McKinsey’s Global Knowledge Expert in organizational behaviour and workplace psychology. In this role, I counseled McKinsey clients and the consultants supporting them on challenges such as culture change, employee engagement, role clarity, and team dynamics.
coach
I am certified as an Integral Development Coach with Thirdspace (offered in partnership with New Ventures West). I help people navigate career transitions, tackle feedback, deal with difficult thoughts, tricky people, and dark times. I guide my clients to keep hold of their hard-earned wisdom as they make the changes they most want to make. Click here to learn more about working together.
advisor
I named my business Wolf Knowledge inspired by Kipling’s line: The strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack. The workplace can be a great source of friendship and community. I believe that to do our best work, we need one another. Click here for more about the advisory services I offer.
writer
I have always been a scribbler, a doodler, a note-taking fanatic, a book-binger, and a journal keeper. Mostly, I write creative nonfiction. Some years ago, I started on a book about the working lives of artists. This morphed into a project about the nature of financial security. I remain at work on this. I also blog and write pieces for magazines and anthologies. More about my writing, including editorial support, here.
